Description
The Hertsprung is a Firebreath-class gunship. A terran warship with a few small cannons arrayed around her hull, and a single large anti-capitol-ship cannon on top, and a massive cannon the equal of any dreadnaught's between two armored bow struts that rotates like the head of a dragon, spitting massive waves of fire at enemies much larger than itself.
The crew compliment is about 40. the engines are half-sized capitol ship thrusters, and there are four of those, giving it as much power as a capitol ship it might go up against.
The large gun is similar to those that the previously posted carrier holds. Its a projectile-firer, accelerating it much faster than guns of earth today. Thank god for super magnets. The other cannon are laser weapons, much better than the projectile cannon at sheild-puncturing, but the cannon gives those lasers a backup punch that could kill a warhorse.
She may be ungainly, but I'd pitch it against anything twice its size in the scifi origins of the architecture: Freelancer. Yup, I based the gunship on the war machines of the Liberty Navy in freelancer.

Actually, I really hate this one. My perspective sucks, and I drew it too small, so every blob of ink that came spilling from the crappy pen shows up. I did that a lot that year
